About Me

 My name is Basilia, the founder of House of Royalty Casa de Basilia. I was born in Spanish Harlem, NYC, in the late '70s, I mean 1979 late, an '80s baby with the funk of the '90s, a soul of a wildflower, a creative mind, and a passion for helping others. I was raised by my grandmother, a loving soul who fed everyone, and by my grandfather, a Pentecostal Pastor who lived across the street and ran a church a few city blocks away, I would often visit a few days a week and would join the other children under the wooded pews, where we would play during service, we would visualize walking alongside Jesus, I could see and feel his love for others as if it were in real-time, it motivated me to open up the youth services at my grandfathers' church, believing the children needed a space they were allowed to be themselves while learning the word of Jesus, time started to fly by, disasters happened, my grandmother passes away, and my life was flipped and turned upside down, going through all types of abuse you can imagine as a young child it was heartbreaking, it broke me and caused me to develop mental health problems, I wasn't in control of all that happened to me, but I had to take responsibility to heal from it, and now I can help others heal too, While still in the process of healing, I developed a way of life that I want to share with anyone who wants to heal and reinvent themselves, the mission of this organization is to make our clients feel like family and connect them to any resources they require, along with their need to gain success and remain successful so they too can heal and pave the way for others.
